Unfortunately, in today's Brazil, within open philosophical orders, long-time members have turned into opportunists; they mirror one another's vices, superficiality, and lack of commitment to the law, honor, dignity, and morality—traits clearly visible at various levels of the sordid political society we inhabit. The real problem isn't when a judge considers themselves untouchable; the greater problem is when a neighborhood watchman fancies himself the law and the owner of the entire neighborhood.
