The Explosion of a Star There was... Michael Bruthor

The Explosion of a Star
There was silence in the middle of sound,
A silent world, lost in its own crown.
A hidden shine within an inner sky,
Covered by veils, the splendor denied.
No one saw,
No one heard,
But inside...
The star burned.
I was shadow wanting to be ground,
I was fire pretending to be none.
Carrying a sun within my chest,
But lived as if it were just dawn.
They told me: "You are empty" —
But I was a secret universe.
A thunder ignited, a cold body,
Swallowing its own fear.
Now I am!
The explosion of a star!
The light that screams where the world freezes!
I’ve always been!
The power in the dark!
Now I rise — now I swear:
I will never be silence again,
I will never be the wall!
How many times did I silence the cry
That was born like thunder?
How many times did I wear the myth
Of being smaller than the vastness?
But now I see what I am:
No permission needed to exist!
If my soul is a sky in bloom,
I will burn until the world hears me!
